listening to: w-inds.: Color me
To add me, you...
% should have at least two or three similar interests to mine. Or, y'know, just be an interesting person. If I'm going to friend you and read your journal, and you do mine in return... it's not much to ask, no? (Yeah, this is asking a bit much, I know, since I'm anything but interesting.)
% shouldn't mind talk about my life with little explanation. Assuming you don't know me in real life (and thus, my friends), you're probably going to be confused when I refer to myself as Jello, mention "piro" (no relation to Fred Gallagher) or "Koneko," or just generally talk about people who you don't know.
% shouldn't mind me rambling on and on about stuff you may not care about that probably won't go under an LJ-cut. I use LJ-cuts. Just not as often as I should. :P Some topics included under this: recording/singing/mixing, cryptic and not-so-cryptic posts about school, family life, and me just being stupid. (Which is 95% of the time.)
% definitely do not expect constant updates. I am not a pour-all-my-emotions-out kind of person. I have grown up keeping mostly to myself and I'll probably stay that way. This is mostly for me to keep track of communities and people I have met and become friends with over the course of my time on the Internet.
DON'T add me...:
% iff ur ei horibal spalir n canod tipe, + mee knot. 3y3 4|50 |-|473 p33p5 h00 type in |337 and act ghetto when they're not (no AzNs, please. I'm begging you.) It's fun when you're just playing around, if you're taking yourself seriously when you do that, just... go away. Who even does that stuff anymore?
% if you merely want to add to your friends lists or if you want people to comment on your entries. I am a horrible commenter unless I am downloading a file or grabbing an icon from someone's journal.
% if you're invovled in drama and want a supporter. I enjoy a healthy dose of sitcoms, but I cannot stand drama. This preference is evident not only in my choice of visual entertainment, but also in how I try to live my life both on and off the Internet. I like poking fun at it from the sidelines. I get really annoyed when it comes to and envelops me. Consider yourself warned.
% if you're from the AAA community attackallaround or like AAA. Yes, I know, LJ tells you that I'm the owner. That I am a maintainer. Yeah, well, thanks to some drama that occurred that basically makes me want to throw up at the mere mention of AAA, I'm avoiding that fandom like the plague. I'm sorry, I know it's not your fault. But whatever it takes to keep the pain away, yes? There are much nicer people to befriend in the fandom, I'm sure you'll find them if you just ask in the community itself.
% if you might get even the slightest bit insulted that I haven't added you in return. I'm a bit slow on the uptake. I'm also shy when it comes to getting to know people out of the blue. If I just don't feel comfortable adding you or I don't see a reason for me to add you, then I don't. It's nothing to get mad over - you'll live. I promise.
Just to make sure you've read this, give me reasons to add you. Do we have similar interests? Are you interested in my life? Do I know you somewhere or from someone?
